Rudi built the homestay and house in 2014 after moving closer to family in Lhoknga just outside of Banda Aceh, Sumatra.

Retiring from the IT industry he wanted to create a space and accommodation for surfers, kite surfers and travelers to enjoy the beach and explore Sumatra.
